Oh your beautiful pie makes my poet heart sing. Those colors and textures are so beautiful. The reds and the blues and the delicate green. The shells and feather and wood and stone. Bark scrolls and seaweed tangles! And the branches with all the white clam shells!
I have a windowsill full of stones and shells and a piece of driftwood because I can't stop picking them up and bringing them home. I also have a pile of quahog shells in the back garden and there are fragments of mussels around the base of one of my maples. But I've never thought to make a pie with them.
And making it anywayβ¦
.
because you love it, and that is reason enough.

Thank you, Jean. ππ
I like how The Dog is capitalized, giving him the deity treatment. Very appropriate.

I highly recommend making a pie. And if you do, send me a photo!
Itβs all so beautiful! The pie, the writing, and the soul of the author! π
